Three Year LIDversary

Today is our three year LID anniversary! We aren't doing anything to celebrate, really. It's not something I am excited about ... having to wait this long ... with more years to go. But we are surviving the wait so far. Busy living our lives. Saturday we FINALLY received our extension approval of our I-171 (via I-600A) Hooray! So now when this one expires in 2011 we will get one more free extension. When that one gets close to expiring we will have to look into the paperwork needed for the I-800A ... because we will no longer be eligible to be 'grandfathered in' under the older guidelines. Ugh! I am not looking forward to that and the stress involved ... but I will certainly do it! So I guess we are celebrating, quietly, that we are still here. Here's to everyone in our LID group and others who are still waiting for their little ones.

On another note, my BIL and his wife are on vacation this week. We get the honor and the F-U-N of watching their 15 month old son while they are away! He is a cutie pie and such a little sweetie. So much fun! We pulled out some of the toys we got as gifts for him to play with. Here are a couple of shots that I took with my cell phone. In the first shot he is feeding Griz a cheerio. In the second shot it's apparent that he thinks Griz is a R-I-O-T for eating his cheerio!
