Hooray! The year 2005 has been completed! The CCAA has even given referrals to a few days in January 2006. Not many ... but a few. Now with an LID of February 2007, some might think that we would have only a year left to wait. Not so. If we are EXTREMELY LUCKY the CCAA will get through one month of 2006 in two months. That would put us at receiving our referral early spring 2010. (yikes!) But that has NOT been the trend since we have been logged in. It has been taking about three months to get through a month. And there are rumors EVERYWHERE! Rumors that it will speed up ... and rumors that it progress at an even slower rate. Will the Olympics have an effect? Don't know. If China removes the One-Child-Policy ... will that effect us? Possibly. But that change wouldn't affect things overnight ... it would take years. I have been told that due to the long wait, the CCAA receives dossier withdraw requests from families worldwide on a daily basis. Will ours be one of them? No! So ... please send us your positive thoughts and well wishes of continued good health and wealth. (Or better wealth would be GREAT! Hehe!) Thank GOODNESS spring is around the corner so we can busy ourselves again. The time seems to go so fast in those months to come. Not that I want to wish our lives away ... but these winter doldrums are tough!
