Diaper Cake

My youngest SIL is having a baby! For her shower gift I made her a diaper cake. This is the first time I made one ... and I think it turned out pretty good. Everyone seemed to like it ... but then again, they are wonderful family! :)

We are out of REVIEW!

Our agency received word from the Beijing office that the CCAA has finished the review of the adoption application documents registered with their office before February 28, 2007. Yeah! ~ February 2007 is out of review!

Sunday

Today is the final day of my summer vacation. Sad. We took the canoes down the Minnesota River today. From St. Peter to Ottawa. Me and my sister in one and her son with Jim in the other. Their first time down a river! It was windy ... but we did it!

We had a barbecue and a bonfire tonight at my sisters home. Lots of silliness!

My sister and her son joined us this afternoon on the area lake for a quick lesson in kayaking. They did great and really enjoyed it.

Referrals!

Our agency received referrals yesterday for families who's Log In Date was January 23, 2006. Congratulations! Those families waited almost 30 months for their referrals! (Our LID is February 5, 2007) ... we have a ways to wait yet. God grant us patience! God grant the CCAA the ability and want to speed things up!

Goodness ~ June went by fast! And that is okay with me. We have been busy playing outside. July looks to be the same. Here are some pictures from our July 4th weekend. Enjoy!
